K147
K147 is a collection of ceramic clay tiles inspired by the traditional Japanese nerikomi technique. The project involved an extensive process to find the exact composition and pattern for each piece. Handmade by Hjobergs Kakelmakeri on the island of Orust Sweden, the tiles are available in ten unique color combinations.
Developed as part of the DES&DO! project in collaboration with SPOK Västra Götaland, the collection has been exhibited at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, and at CØR Studio in Paris.
K147 was awarded third place in the design competition “Svenskt Färgcentrum – Prisad Färg 2025.
