Yxstaby

Developed in collaboration between IKEA and Xbox, the YXSTABY collection is designed to seamlessly blend functional gaming furniture with everyday home aesthetics. The goal was to create pieces that support immersive play while naturally complementing the modern living space.

As part of this collection, the YXSTABY D-pad cushion was
co-designed with in-house designer David Wahl to bring iconic gaming history into the home. Inspired by the classic controller, the cushion is designed to offer both ergonomic support during long gaming sessions and a distinct graphic accent on the sofa or gaming chair.
