Tufted melange

Tufted Melange is a color study based on eight selected yarn colors, mixed together in various compositions to achieve a rich melange effect. Functioning as a pre-study for a future rug design, the project investigates how to maximize color possibilities within a closed system. By blending existing materials instead of sourcing new ones, the study explores how many distinct, high-quality melange shades can be successfully generated through pure color mixing.
